Melanin is a natural pigment that gives colour to skin. Exposure to sunlight, hormonal influences and ageing can cause an increase in melanin production and trigger dark marks and dark spots that make skin look uneven. Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Night Cream contains Thiamidol®, an effective and patented ingredient that acts at the root cause of dark spots by reducing melanin production. It is clinically and dermatologically proven to reduce dark marks and prevent their re-appearance. First results are visible from 2 weeks and improve continuously with regular use. Tested on South African skin. The night cream also contains Dexpanthenol – an active ingredient known to support skin regeneration overnight. Skin appears even and radiant. Panthenol and Dexpanthenol are two names commonly used for the same ingredient. It is a derivative of Pantothenic Acid (a B Complex Vitamin) and enhances skin regeneration and repair. When applied regularly, Panthenol/Dexpanthenol has been proven to considerably improve symptoms of skin irritation such as dryness, roughness, scaling and redness.
