Cetrino Cream 1%w/w: Clean, white smooth homogeneous cream free from visible evidence-of contamination and free from grittiness.It contains: Cetrimide BP 1% w/w. Cetrimide is a quaternary ammonium antiseptic. It has emulsifying 4 and detergent properties also bactericidal activity against gram-positive and, at a higher concentration, against some Gram-negative bacteria. Some Pseudomonas spp are particularly resistant as are strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. They are ineffective against bacterial spores, have variable anti-fungal activity, and are effective against some viruses. USES: Cetrino Cream is used for cleansing skin, wounds, and burns. It is an antiseptic cream for cuts, minor burns, abrasions, napkin rash and minor superficial skin infections. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Apply sparingly to the affected area, Discontinue use if excessive dryness or irritation occurs.
